home sweet home

sometimes when i look at design blogs and see too many perfect rooms, i look around and feel discontent and start to get critical of what i have:  i wish my kitchen had white cabinets. the baseboards sure are banged up.  didn't i just vacuum?  

e and i recently found the 'before' photos of our house, and it left me in awe of how far we've come.  how can i be anything but proud of the house i live in?

can't believe it's even the same house.  i loved it then, but i love it even more now!
