checking in

For the past four or five days, we've been without internet at home. I was feeling cut off (still do, really) from work, blogs, free information, but realized how much time I have for other things when the internet isn't calling my name. So it looks like it's time for a break. I'll probably roll up to Dunkin' Donuts and use their wi-fi to check email and my etsy shop, and probably read some blogs, but with the next few weeks off from work, I really want to be off, in every way. Time to do all those things I've been too busy to do: play with my camera, do some real housecleaning (not exactly fun, but so satisfying), hang out outside with the pup, make lunch for myself (well, something other than frozen pizza), have lunch with friends, and whatever else I feel like doing! Have a restful and peaceful holiday time. See you soon.

  1. Sounds divine. I can't wait until it's too late to mail Christmas packages so i can take it easy for a while, lol.

  2. I hope you enjoy your low-internet holiday. I don't think I could do it because I don't know if I really otherwise have enough to do for several weeks. I wonder if it's too late to find a holiday job that I wouldn't hate. It'd be nice to have a little extra cash to pay for, um, this computer.

That doesn't look like microwave pizza.

  3. We've been without internet for a while too, although not by choice - I have missed it, but have definitely had more time to spend with family. It is sometimes good to have a break. Hope you enjoy the holidays - all the best for a great new year.
